Evaluation Day - May 28th

Hello to all new and returning QL Eagles!

Queens Lake Eagles Evaluation Day and the start of practice is fast approaching! We are so excited to get you all into the water and swimming. Below is some information that should be helpful as your family comes to evaluation day.

SNAP SHOT: Evaluation day takes place on the first day of practice. It is a short assessment and level placement of your swimmer by the QL Eagles coaching staff.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 28, 2024

WHO: All swimmers (with a few exceptions) should attend an evaluation session. This allows Coach Sandi and her staff to place swimmers in their initial level, as well as the lanes for practice.

TIME: Two Sessions

  • Session 1: 4 pm -5 pm (middle/ high /homeschoolers)*
  • Session 2: 5 pm -6 pm (all others)*

* Please note that full time swimmers 11 & over do not need to attend Eval Day but are welcome to come for the Ice Cream Social.

Families with multiple swimmers or those with scheduling conflicts can choose which session to attend. You will leave evaluation day knowing what practice time to attend the following day or if lessons are recommended for further confidence and strength.

After your assessment, please be sure to visit the ice cream bar! Get your scoop of ice cream and add your favorite toppings. Parent volunteers will be happy to help guide you and answer any questions. Our goal is for this to be an easy, fun transition for your family into summer swim!
