CHAMPS Meet results
Great news about the Queens Lake Eagles! The Eagles secured 7th place overall in the VPSU ranking which is a solid achievement, not to mention a third-place finish for the QL girls which is very impressive! Kudos to everyone involved, especially our awesome coaches and the volunteers who made it all possible!
Queens Lake Eagles Swim Team Awards Banquet Update
Tonight at 5:00 pm, we’ll kick off the awards banquet at the QL pool. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll relocate inside to the clubhouse. Families are asked to bring either a dessert (Last name A-M) or side dish (Last name N-Z). Let's make this an awesome feast!
Looking forward to celebrating everyone’s achievements!
Coaches Gifts
We are trying something new this year to honor coaches. Each coach will have a bin and we are encouraging families to thank coaches with their own gifts of gratitude. This can be monetary, gift cards or homemade items. (If you were not able to sign the coaches card then please feel free to bring your own or make homemade cards and place them in the bins.)
Here are the list of coaches:
- Coach Sandi Willard
- Livvie Chloe
- Brandon Van Dyke
- Maddie Hubbard
- Chloe Phillips
- Izzie Check
- Gianna Smith
- Ali Thompson
Swim-A-Thon Donations Due
Swim-A-Thon donations were due this past Friday. Please bring your check payments this evening and give to Emily Edmonds or N.J. Hubbard, our treasurer. You may also use the Swim-A-Thon online donation link. If you need to get in touch with Emily, Swim-A-Thon Chair, please email her at [email protected].
Lastly, toward the end of the month, the QL Eagles Leadership will be reaching out with a survey, and we would greatly value your input. Your feedback will help us understand what went well this season and identify areas where we can improve and grow.
Additionally, we are excited to announce that we are looking for new members to join our leadership team. Fresh perspectives and talents are always a welcome addition, and we encourage anyone interested to consider getting involved. We’ll be sharing more information about this opportunity soon.
As we close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements of the Queens Lake Eagles this 2024 summer swim season. This year, our team has truly soared to victory, demonstrating teamwork, and sportsmanship.
From the first splash to the final stroke, every member of our team has contributed to making this season one of our best yet.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to our coaches, volunteers, and families for their unwavering support throughout the season.
FLY, SOAR, SWIM Eagles!
With Gratitude,
Mary Clare Sabol (Secretary) & the QL Eagles leadership
