Eagle Families,

Though our final figures are not in yet for the amount of $$$ we raised, what is known is what a tremendous success the Summer Awards meet was in showcasing our neighborhood and swim team!

From marking fields for parking (and taking down) to feeding hundreds of people to running the pool to timing hundreds of swimmers to working oh so hard to not pass out in the heat, the QL Eagles delivered on Saturday! Despite the heat, our swimmers achieved over 48% best times with six swimmers earning Champs times for a grand total of 61 qualifiers the Eagles!

Thank you to the coaching staff who guided and supported our swimmers on deck. Thank you to all of the families who volunteered throughout the summer and during the meet to help make Summer Awards a success. Thank you also to the Queens Lake Community and pool staff for supporting the meet. And a special thank you to our area high school volunteers who jumped in to fill crucial vacancies and helped the meet run so smoothly! It truly took a community to run this meet.
