Practice is underway, and our first swim meet at home is scheduled for June 15th – it will be here before we know it!

Please save this email, as it contains valuable information that both new and returning swim parents will find helpful.

9:50am - 11:00am: Eagles

10:15am - 10:45am: Hatchlings*

*we invite Hatchlings to practice with the Fledglings at 6pm this week!

SWIM MEET UNIFORM

The only mandatory uniform for swim meets is the official Eagles swim cap. Swimmers who do not already have one will receive it from the coaches before the first swim meet. Additional caps will also be available at the first meet.

Swimwear Guidelines

• QL Eagles wear black one-piece suits or jammers with a red accent.
• For official QL Eagles merchandise, please visit our Team Store. Additionally, when shopping at http://www.swimoutlet.com, you can select "Queens Lake Eagles" and contribute 1% back to the team at checkout.

THE INS AND OUTS OF THE SWIMTOPIA APP

In either the app and the website, choose the meet you would like to RSVP for (all meets listed in the schedule of events feature a small swimmer icon next to them). Click on Meet Signup (in the app) or Meet Entry (on the website) to adjust your swimmer(s)’ attendance for each meet.

*Pro tip: RSVP for all meets now. You can always change your selection if your plans change.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A PARENT VOLUNTEER JOB
Each parent is expected to sign up for a volunteer position at every meet their swimmer attends. In addition, please sign up to volunteer for a Special Event.

How to Sign Up

• Access either the app or the website.
• Select the meet or special event you wish to participate in.
• Click on Job Signup to choose a parent role, explore available volunteer opportunities, and secure your spot.

*Pro tip: Younger swimmers typically compete earlier in the meet. If you have a new or younger swimmer on the team, consider opting for a volunteer position during the first shift.*

WHAT CATEGORY IS MY SWIMMER IN?
In the App:
The swimmer's age group and swim category will be displayed next to their name on the home page.

On the Website:

• Click on your name in the upper right corner
• Select "My Account."
• Click on your swimmer's name to view their age group and swim category.

*If your swimmer has not yet been evaluated by the coaching staff, please contact them during the next practice your swimmer attends.*
