We are excited to welcome the Stonehouse Sharks to Queens Lake for our Pirates & Mermaids Friendship Meet on Monday, June 15!

Who: Queens Lake Eagles vs. Stonehouse Sharks

Where: Queens Lake Pool

Williamsburg, VA

Arrival Time: Swimmers should arrive by 5:00 PM.

Directions & Entrance: Please enter Queens Lake using Lakeshead Drive.

Parking: Parking will be available in the field adjacent to the pool. Please follow parking attendants' instructions and avoid blocking roads, driveways, or emergency access routes.

Pool Information: Queens Lake Pool is a 6-lane, 25-yard pool.

Birdie Buddies: All swimmers who signed up to participate in Birdie Buddies should have already received an email about their buddy. Reply to this email if you have not received an introduction to your buddy and would like to participate. Birdie Buddies is a fun tradition that helps our younger swimmers build friendships with older swimmers while encouraging team spirit throughout the season.

We encourage buddies to cheer for each other during meets, get to know one another at practices, and exchange small notes or treats throughout the summer if they'd like.

Warm-Ups:

• Queens Lake Eagles: 5:00 PM
• Stonehouse Sharks: 5:30 PM

Meet Start: The meet will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.

Swimmers Should Bring: A swimsuit or jammers, goggles (an extra pair is always a good idea), towels, a water bottle, healthy snacks, and warm clothing for later in the evening.

Team Areas: Families are encouraged to bring chairs, towels, and shade tents if desired. Space will be available for both teams to set up around the pool deck and surrounding grassy areas.

Theme: Pirates & Mermaids! Feel free to join the fun with themed shirts, decorations, and team spirit.

Concessions: Our concession stand will be open throughout the meet and accepts cash and contactless tap-to-pay payments (credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other mobile wallets). A copy of the concessions menu is attached.

Weather: We are keeping an eye on the forecast and hope for a beautiful evening of swimming. Swim meets are held rain or shine, but any lightning or severe weather delays will be communicated to families as needed.
