Queens Lake Eagles Families,

We are getting ready for our upcoming away meet at the Greensprings pool and wanted to share some important information and a few volunteer opportunities that still need to be filled. Your support is invaluable in ensuring a smooth and successful event!

Volunteer Spots Needed for Monday’s Meet:

• Lead Line-Up (both shifts) – We have two support people for each shift, so we might be covered, but we still need leads.
• Ribbons – One volunteer per shift is needed to manage ribbons.
• Stroke and Turn – Volunteers needed.
• Scoring – Volunteers needed.

Meet Details:

• Date: Monday, June 29
• Location: 3200 Manor Gate Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23188
• Warm-ups: Our team warms up at 5:30 PM
• Volunteer Check-in: Main entrance of the pool
• Volunteer Meeting/Timer Meeting: 5:45 PM by Clerk of Course
• Clerk of Course Location: Back right at the pool under the tents

Visiting Team Set Up:

• Parents can set up personal tents and chairs in the large field outside the pool area.
• Only coaches and swimmers are permitted to set up inside the pool area near the baby pool/bathrooms.

Concessions:

The Gators Grill will be open in the pool clubhouse, offering a menu with burgers, hotdogs, fruit, pasta salad, chips, and treats. Each meet might include a different specialty such as BBQ sandwiches or tacos. We will share the finalized menu with you soon. Both cash and Venmo are accepted.
